WSH Guidelines on Diagnosis and Management of Occupational Diseases

This comprehensive training course on Occupational Diseases (ODs) is designed to equip doctors and healthcare professionals with the knowledge and tools needed to recognize, diagnose, and manage work-related illnesses. Occupational diseases arise from exposure to workplace hazards, and early detection is essential to prevent long-term health effects. However, these diseases are often underreported and overlooked due to long latency periods and the evolving nature of industries, including the use of new technologies and materials.

Under the Workplace Safety and Health Act, doctors are legally required to report ODs. Despite this, many cases go unrecognized, which delays treatment and allows risks to persist.
