Module: Adding Asset Forms to a Project

By the end of this module, you will be able to add an Asset Form to a project and perform maintenance on the asset.


Step-by-Step Instructions:

  1. Introduction to Asset Maintenance:

    • To maintain an asset within a project, the first essential step is to add the Asset Form to the specific project.
  2. Navigating to the Project Setup:

    • Go to the Project Setup menu. This is the central hub for configuring various project settings.
  3. Accessing the Asset Form:

    • Within the Project Setup menu, click on the Asset Form menu. This section allows you to manage asset-related forms within the project.
  4. Selecting the Project:

    • Choose the relevant project for which you want to add the Asset Form. This ensures that the form is linked to the correct project context.
  5. Copying the Template:

    • Click the Copy Template From Master Data button located at the bottom right corner of the screen. This action will copy a pre-defined template from the master data repository into your selected project.
  6. Choosing the Appropriate Form:

    • Select the form that corresponds to the asset you previously added to the project. This ensures that the maintenance activities are accurately documented and tracked.
