Training Materials: Deleting a User Account in PEER

Introduction

In this section, we will cover the steps to delete a user account in PEER. This is an essential task for managing user access and ensuring that only authorized personnel have access to the system.

Steps to Delete a User Account

  1. Access the User Management Menu

    • Navigate to the PEER dashboard.
    • Click on the User Management menu. This menu allows you to view, edit, and delete user accounts.
  2. Search for the User

    • In the User Management section, locate the Search bar.
    • Enter the name or other identifying information of the user you want to delete. This will filter the list to show the relevant user.
  3. Delete the User Account

    • Find the user in the search results.
    • Click the 3 dots button next to the user’s name. This will open a drop-down menu with various options.
    • Select Remove from the drop-down menu.
    • A confirmation dialog will appear. Click OK to confirm the deletion. The user account will be permanently deleted from PEER.
